Christmas

I love Christmas, it's my absolute favorite holiday. The best part of Christmas is found in the kids. They get SO excited and it's so fun to watch their anticipation....and that anticipation starts with the tree....

Cousins helping me search for the BEST tree.

Jake didn't last long searching for a tree. It was hard for him to walk around on the uneven ground. Once he was done, he wouldn't have anymore of it. I quickly picked a tree and took him to level ground. We decorated the tree and surprisingly Jake wasn't too interested in messing with it. He loved to pretend water it, and only played with a few of the ornaments.

We got to visit Santa this year at the ward Christmas breakfast. Jake was scared and only lasted seconds on Santa's lap. After our turn was over he wanted to go visit Santa again. I waited in line with him, and once we got up there again we did a drive by Santa viewing. Jake would not even look at him! Silly kid.

Once Christmas was over Jake went through present withdrawal. Luckily cousin Byron's birthday is in January!
