We joined my sister's family on a camping trip to Ft. Stevens at the end of July. I was nervous how Jake would do since he had a hard time sleeping at the mountain. We drove up separately so we could leave early if needed. He ended up doing really well both nights. The first night it took him awhile to fall asleep with all of the campground noise, and all the excitement. The second night he went right to sleep, it was great!
The weekend was full of bike rides, beach, digging, and hangin' out. One of the days we went to Battery Russell to explore. The kids had a fun time running around.

Jake loves to drive, he had a great time driving his cousins around in this jeep.

We stopped at Cannon Beach before heading back home. The weather was fantastic and we had a great time. I don't think Jake could have done any better, he is now a camping kid!
The only downside to our trip was that I got sand in my camera :(
